  • Carbohydrate analysis in a pharma application by HPLC-EC PAD: A simple PAD method was developed using our electrochemical detector (Thermo Scientific Dionex Coulochem III ED) in pulse mode. The application tested impurities in 2-deoxy-2-[18F]fluoro-D-glucose (FDG), the most widely used radiopharmaceutical for positron emission tomography (PET).
  • Analysis of glycan derivatives with Fluorescence Detection: In this application, the derivatizing agent 2AA was used and the method showed excellent sensitivity and selectivity.
  • Carbohydrate analysis in fruit juices with Charged Aerosol Detection (CAD): The application measured carbohydrates in a variety of fruit juice samples and was performed using a polymeric amino column in HILIC mode.
  • Glycoprotein analysis by parallel CAD and Mass Spectrometry: The application was for the identification and quantification of glycans from fetuin.
