Julian Saba received his Ph.D. from the University of Manitoba in chemistry. His thesis work focused on the development of mass spectrometry based workflows for glycan analysis. He then did his post doctoral fellowship with Catherine Costello at Boston University focusing on Proteomics. This was followed by a second post doctoral fellowship at the University of Montreal under the tutelage of Pierre Thibault working on the use of ion mobility for Proteomics applications. Julian Saba joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2009. His main responsibilities for Thermo Fisher Scientific has been on the development of workflows around glycomics and glycoproteomics.
