Dr. Rosa Viner is currently the Program Manager for Proteomics at Thermo Fisher Scientific in San Jose, CA. She joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2004. She is involved in all areas of proteomics research with specific focus on relative quantification, PTM characterization and top down/intact protein analysis. She serves as liaison between Life science mass spectrometry and Pierce Protein research business units to provide complete solutions/workflows to customers. She is responsible for the development of the next generation MS reagents and standards including TMT isobaric tags and crosslinking mass spectrometry workflow. Rosa is one of recipients of 2014 Science and Technology award from international HUPO organization for her efforts for the commercialization of isobaric labeling for protein quantification. Dr. Viner holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Biophysics from the Moscow State University, Russia.
