These were not empty words. At the 9th International Symposium on Recent Advances in Food Analysis (RAFA) which was held in early November, we launched the Thermo Scientific™ Anionic Pesticides Explorer, an integrated sample-to-results analytical workflow.
This workflow has been extensively optimized and validated with a range of representative sample types — including wheat flour, grape, leek and baby food — to offer high-throughput detection, identification and quantification of anionic polar pesticides compliant with EU SANTE/11813/2017 method validation and ongoing quality control guideline criteria in a complete off-the-shelf package.
The instrumentation comprises the Thermo Scientific™ Dionex Integrion High-Performance Ion Chromatography system coupled with the Thermo Scientific™ TSQ Altis Triple Quadrupole MS. It comes complete with optimized sample preparation, software, necessary consumables, suitability check standard solution and a detailed deployment guide to enable food testing laboratories to overcome the challenge of reliable quantitation and identification of multiple polar anionic pesticides.
